Moodbidri, May 29, 2025: A married woman has ended life by jumping into a well with her lover who is also a married man, near Marakada in Badagamijar on May 28.
The deceased are Namiksha Shetty (29) of Badagamijar and Prashanth. The latter hailed from Bagalkote but resided in Niddodi and was a driver by profession.
Namiksha was a mother of two children and her husband is employed in Pune. It is learnt Namiksha and Prashanth came into contact through Instagram and soon love blossomed between the two.
Reportedly, the two had a quarrel recently. However the exact reason behind the suicide is not known.
Moodbidri police have registered a case.
