Mass marriage ceremony held in honor of Nithyanand Swami

Bantwal, Jan 2, 2012 : A mass marriage ceremony was held at Nithyananda Govinda Swami Bhajan Mandir on Jan 1 Sunday on the occasion of Nithyanand Swami’s 50th death anniversary by the Nithyanand Govind Swami Trust. Thirteen couples tied the knot on this occasion.

A large number of people including prominent citizens such as Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, the RSS chief; Swami Vijayanand of the Belgaum Bevinakoppa Anandashram; and Hasan Mataji, the Rajayogini of Mysore Ganeshpuri Nithyanand Ashram.

 

 

Balakrishna Bhandary, the entrepreneur, presided. Dharmapal U. Devadiga, the former president of the Mumbai Devadiga Sangha; Umesh Shetty, the president of Thane VHP; Suresh P. Shetty, L. V. Amin, Shankar Shetty Virar, and Balakrishna Puttur, all entrepreneurs; and Vishwanath Mada, the retired officer of Air India, were the dignitaries on the dais. Yogish Sapalya, the honorary president of Nithyanand Swami’s 50th death anniversary committee, and B. Sadashiv Bhandary, the honorary advisor, were also present.

B. Dinesh Bhandary, the president of the committee, delivered the welcome address and B. Nagaraj Shetty, the president, delivered the introductory address. The MCs of the event were Dinesh Amin and H. K. Nayanadu.
