Mangaluru, May 8,2025: Mangaluru will host Crescendo100@Kudla, the annual conference of Toastmasters International District 121, from May 16 to 18, 2025, at The Avatar Hotel – Convention Centre. The event is set to bring together around 450 delegates from over 150 Toastmasters clubs across Karnataka and Kerala to celebrate public speaking, leadership, and professional development.
This year’s conference holds special significance as it coincides with the centenary of Toastmasters International. The title, Crescendo100@Kudla, reflects the milestone and highlights Mangaluru’s growing prominence in the global communication and leadership movement.
Toastmasters clubs from Mangaluru and surrounding areas, where the organisation has thrived for over three decades, have collaborated to host the three-day event. The conference will feature keynote sessions, district-level speech contests, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and cultural programs, offering participants a mix of learning, leadership, and camaraderie.
Notable speakers include Dananjaya Hettiarachchi, the 2014 World Champion of Public Speaking; Saveen Hegde, a design thinking expert; entrepreneur Anushka Jaisinghani; business leader K. Ullas Kamath; magician Junior Shankar; and Pawas Chandra, International Director for Region 13 (India and Southeast Asia).
