Mangaluru, November 2, 2024: The stone replica of Halmidi Inscription considered the first Kannada stone inscription was unveiled by DK District in-charge Minister Dinesh Gundurao at the Rajaji Park in front of Town Hall on Friday on the occasion of Rajyotsava.
The initiative is part of the Karnataka Sambhrama-50 celebrations with the objective of spreading awareness on the significance of ancient Kannada inscriptions.
City Police Commissioner Anupam Agarwal, Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan, MLC Harish Kumar, Mayor Manoj Kumar, DK Kannada Sahitya Parishat President M P Srinath, Kannada and Culture Department Deputy Director Rajesh and others were present.
