Mangaluru: Siddique Pandavarakallu accused of misusing charity funds and harassing women-Abdul Raouf

Mangalore Today News Network

Mangaluru, July 8, 2025: In a serious allegation, Abdul Raouf Bandar, the founder of The Voice of Blood Donors, has accused Siddique Pandavarakallu, President of Al Madeena Charitable Trust, of misusing charity efforts under the guise of arranging marriages for women from the Muslim community.

Addressing a press conference at a private hotel in Mangaluru, Raouf claimed, "Siddique was collecting funds in the name of marrying off poor girls, but was using a portion of the money for his own benefit. He would collect phone numbers of the women and use them for immoral activities, according to a complaint I received from another organization. When I questioned Siddique to verify the truth, he tried to cover up his actions by attempting suicide — which failed — and later, to escape public shame, filed a false police case against me."

Raouf went on to say, “Through The Voice of Blood Donors, I have been organizing blood donation camps across regions, offering free ambulance services, and distributing wheelchairs and other equipment to the differently abled. Many dignitaries and youth from the community have joined hands with me in this social service.”

He further alleged, “Siddique was exploiting innocent young women from the Muslim community for his own pleasure while collecting funds under the pretext of helping them. He kept the major share of the money collected and only gave a small portion to the poor families. He even resorted to blackmailing respected individuals from society for money. He has become a menace to society. Just because I tried to question him honestly, he has filed a case against me.”

Raouf stated firmly, “I will not succumb to Siddique’s deceit. I will expose his illegal actions and the injustice done to poor girls before the community. I urge young women from economically weaker backgrounds to be cautious and not share their personal phone numbers with him.”

Vice-President Sadiq Salethur and Secretary Rubiya Akhtar of The Voice of Blood Donors were also present at the press meet.
