Mangalore, Feb 13, 2013 : Amitha Poojari Kudumbur, a Mangalorean talent, has emerged the strongest woman at the National Junior Powerlifting Championship held at Amaravathi in Maharashtra recently. She won the gold in the 52 kg category.
A student of Gokarnanatheshwara College in Mangalore, Amitha is the daughter of Kudumbur Srinivas Bangera and Sharada couple.
