Man addicted to alcohol ends life by jumping into Nandini river

Haleyangady, April 13, 2022: A man who was addicted to alcohol and was mentally depresed has committed suicide by jumping into the Nandini river from the Pavanje bridge on April 13, Wednesday.
The deceased is Balakrishna Amin (41) of Hejamady. He was working at Pramod Electronics at Mulki which was owned by his brother.
It has been gathered that his family had strived hard to get him out of the addiction by enrolling him to de-addiction camps at many places. He was reportedly missing since Tuesday morning and his family was in search of him. On Wednesday morning his body was found floating in the Nandini river.
