M. C. Jayappa’s book “Aasegala Santheyalli” released

Mangalore, June 13, 2012 : Dr. Vasanth Kumar Perla, program organizer of Mangalore Akashvani, released “Aasegala Santheyalli,” a book by M. C. Jayappa, librarian at Mangalore University at a special book release ceremony held at Press Club on June 13, Wednesday.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Perla said that the book focuses on consumerism and deals with the life of a person looking for love and happiness in a consumerist society. The book also suggests the need for a literary movement.

Speaking about the book, Jithu Nidle, a publicity officer from Shimoga, said that it deals with the story of Harsha, an MA graduate, who starts a resort and looks for love.

Dr. Prakash Chandra Shishil, lecturer at Government First Grade College on Car Street, was the MC.
