Kasargod: Hit and run case claims woman’s life; husband injured

Kasargod, April 28, 2023: A woman died while her husband suffered injuries in a hit and run case on the National Highway near Uppala on April 27, Thursday.
The couple were travelling in a bike from Kasargod to Mangaluru after attending a wedding when tragedy struck.
Their bike was hit by a speeding vehicle which fled from the spot. The woman Nalinakshi (65) from Kottara Chowki who was critically injured died in the hospital.
Police are checking CCTV footages to gather information about the vehicle which caused the accident.
