Karkala: Man arrested for misleading people through online gaming and betting apps

Karkala, Sep 20, 2025: Police in Karkala Rural have arrested a man accused of misleading people through online gaming and betting applications.
The arrested person has been identified as Nazir (44) from Ganjimath, Mangalore. Police said he was encouraging people in Belman village to install mobile applications linked to online gaming.
During the investigation, police found that Nazir was involved in online betting using mobile apps and website links. Officials seized Rs 30,000 in cash from him and registered a case.
