Gokarnanath Bank Ltd. inaugurates 13th branch office

Mangalore, July 10, 2010: The 13th branch of Gokarnanath Cooperative Bank Ltd., which has its headquarters in Mangalore, was inaugurated on Mission Street Road.

B. J. Poojary, the leader of DKCC, said that the bank has opened a new branch in the Bunder area to keep in touch with the various businesses and trades that thrive in that area. The Bunder area also has a number of houses and witnesses a variety of economic transactions.

 

 

He expressed his hope that the bank will offer useful and selfless service to the section of society in Bunder area. Pointing out a reduced level of honesty in modern society, he urged the administrators of the bank to provide prompt, honest, and efficient banking services. Calling upon the bank to respect those who approach it for loans, he reminded the bank officials that the bank can grow in strength only because of the interest paid by its clients.

B. R. Bhat, the general manager of Corporation Bank, was the chairman of the event. The chief guests were K. Ashraf, the former mayor of Mangalore City Corporation (MCC), and B. K. Saleem, the assistant manager of KCS Cooperative Societies.

The chief manager of Gokarnanath Bank delivered the introductory address. Director A. Shivananda Karkera made the welcome speech. Chandrashekar, who was the master of ceremonies, proposed the vote of thanks.
