Officials fear the death toll may rise as rescue operations continue.

Fire department personnel rushed to the spot and are working to douse the flames, with support from local residents. The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals in ambulances, and several victims with severe burn injuries remain in critical condition. The intensity of the explosion reportedly scattered bodies and caused damage to nearby structures.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said he has spoken to senior officials and directed them to ensure immediate assistance to those affected. “We are closely monitoring the relief measures and stand with the bereaved families,” he said.
