Garbage issue : MLA Vedavyas Kamath opens war room in his office

Mangaluru, Mar 24, 2023: A war room has been set up at the  office of the Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath in the wake of the ongoing strike of the cleanliness workers and in order to assist the public in clearing the garbage piled up at various parts of the city.

 

The MLA has said measures would be taken to clear the garbage if affected people contact the war room. He said efforts are being made to recruit temporary staff to clear the garbage and at present 75 to 80 drivers have been arranged. As more drivers are needed those  interested can contact his office, he added.

He also stated that all efforts are being made to end the impasse. The War Room numbers : 8904078297, 8197270222. The war room is operational from 9 am to 5 pm.
