Elderly couple’s decomposed body found at their home in Thokottu

Mangaluru, Jun 19, 2019 : In a shocking incident,  decomposed body of elderly couple found at their home near Chembugudde in Thokottu.

 

 

The deceased are identified as Padmanabha(78) and his wife Vimala(65).

Reports said that Umanath, son-in-law of Padmnabha had visted their residence, were not responding to the knocks on the door despite repeated attempt. He grew suspicious as  foul smell was emanting the house, immediately contacted Ullal police.

A police team reached the spot and found that the house was locked from inside. The door was force-opened and the two bodies were found in a decomposed state, suspected they might have commited suicide.

They are survived by three children but were married and staying apart from them.The reason behind the extreme step yet to ascertain .
