Divine Call Centre to conduct youth retreat from May 9 - 13

Mangalore, May 6: Fr. Anil Kiran Fernandes SVD said in a press release that the Divine Call Centre Mulki organized a 5-day residential retreat in English with simultaneous translation into Konkani from April 25 – 30. The preacher was Bro. Trevor Lewis of Jeevan Lal Ministries in Mumbai. About 650 people from all over India participated in the retreat. Most of them were from Goa, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. People were especially inspired by the sessions on “life in the Spirit” and “growth in the Spirit.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many of the participants claimed to have received favors during these five days. Participants overcame prolonged depression and discovered their true selves and were even healed of medical issues such as stomach pain, leg pain, chest pain, back pain, frozen shoulders, ear infections, and much more. Many testified that they were healed of medical conditions that were not even responding to medication.

Director of DCC Rev. Fr. Cyprian Lewis thanked Br. Trevor Lewis and his team for this wonderful retreat. Br. Trevor Lewis expressed his gratitude to DCC Team for inviting him to Mangalore to conduct this retreat and told the faithful that he is looking forward to another visit to Mangalore.  

Fr Cyprian announced the forthcoming Youth Special Retreat in Kannada, which will be conducted by Yesu Sparsha Team from May 9, 6 p.m. to May 13, 7 p.m. Rev Fr. Franklin D’Souza, Rev Fr. Roman Pinto, and Br. T. K. George along with their team members will be preaching the Word of God. The director appealed to the youth to renew their lives by actively participating in this retreat.
