District administration gives warm farewell to outgoing DC N Prakash

Mangalore, Dec 13, 2013: Deputy Commissioner N Prakash has been transferred as Labour Commissioner in Bangalore. 

Prakash  who took charge as DC on December 3, 2012 was promoted as an IAS officer in 2011. Hailing from Nanjangud, he is a second rank holder in MA(History) from Mysore University. He also has a degree in law.

Speaking at the farewell function organized at his office, the outgoing DC said that the work environment during his tenure has completely satisfied him.

He also said that the good administration took place during his tenure was just because of the co-operation of all the officers. 

Additional deputy commissioner Dayanand K said that since the new DC has not yet been appointed, Tulasi Maddineni, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat will take charge of the district temporarily.

Later, N Prakash was felicitated by the officials present on the occasion, but Prakash honoured Manohar, an officer in the DC’s office and praised him for his hard work.

MCC commissioner Shanady Ajith Hegde, legal advisor M B Patil, Dr Prashant, and Puttur AC Krishnamurthy and others were present.
