SIT officials, along with FSL experts and the SOCO team from Bengaluru, arrived at the spot at around 2:40 pm on May 21. They brought along Pradeep Kulal, a witness in the case, and began spot inspection and mahazar proceedings.

According to sources, the SIT and the Bengaluru FSL team brought Pradeep Kulal Gowda from Bantwal to Banglegudde to recreate earlier video evidence related to the case. It is learnt that the mahazar conducted earlier was considered inadequate, prompting officials to carry out the procedure once again.
