Dharmasthala: Minister Pralhad Joshi flags off ‘Dharmasthala Chalo’ convention against smear campaign

Dharmasthala, Sep 1, 2025: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi inaugurated the ‘Dharmasthala Chalo’ convention organised by the BJP at Dharmasthala, held to protest against the alleged smear campaign targeting the revered shrine.

Speaking on the occasion, Joshi asserted that the entire nation and the Modi government stand firmly with the Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala.

He accused the Congress party of consistently working to divide Hindu society and alleged that a major conspiracy was underway against Dharmasthala as part of this strategy. “The Congress has always conspired against the majority community in this country, and the developments in Dharmasthala are also part of that conspiracy,” he said.

The event was presided over by BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra.

Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly R. Ashoka, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, former Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda, MP Brijesh Chowta, along with several MPs, MLAs, and thousands of party workers were present.
