Mangalore, Nov 15, 2011: DenSure launched a new dental care facility sprawling over an area of 2,200sq.ft. at Vijaya Maternity Clinic and Surgical Nursing Home at Kadri in Mangalore on Nov 14 Monday. The new facility is dedicated to late Mr. Motilal N. Pai, the father of Dr. Suryakanth M. Pai, the founder of DenSure.
Addressing reporters at a press conference held in Mangalore, Dr. Suryakanth M. Pai said that the facility will be available to the public from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The facility has the latest equipment to provide pain-free and infection-free dental care to patients and is large enough to treat 150 – 200 patients per day. The facility also has a minor OT for minor oral surgical procedures and facilities to provide treatment for young children in association with Vijaya Clinic.
The dental facility will be inaugurated by Sandhya S. Pai and T. Sathish U. Pai of Manipal Media Network Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Pai also said that the facility will provide regular dental treatment such as root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, crowns, implant dentistry, prosthetic dentistry, and oral surgery. Consultation will be provided by Dr. Aravind Shenoy, Dr. Rakshith Hegde, Dr. Rohan Mascarenhas, Dr. Umesh Y. Pai, Dr. Lakshmeesha Mallya, and Dr. Ramaraj P. N. Treatments will be extended to NRI’s on appointment only.
Besides, DenSure has a special programme for children between the age of 5 and 7 years, enabling them to grow into healthy adults without any dental disorders. Pediatric dental care services will be provided by Dr. Suryakanth M. Pai, Dr. Sharan Sargod, Dr. Shailesh Shenoy, and Dr. Raksha Ballal.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rakshith Hegde said that the premises will have a research wing and also a training section to train BDS/MDS graduates on general dentistry.
