Mangalore, Jun 14, 2012 : A worker at Indian Fish Mill in Kotepur discovered the corpse of a young man, packed in a gunny bag, on June 13, Wednesday.

 

 

 

 

 

The police have identified the dead body as that of Vinayak (24) of Car Street in Mangalore, who has been working as the night security guard of the mill for the last five years.

Someone had packed the body in a gunny bag and placed in near the wall between Indian Fish Mill and Harris Fish Mill. The police suspect that it is a case of murder.

A few days back, Vinayak had called the police to report the theft of spare parts in the mill, and accordingly, the police had investigated the theft. On Wednesday morning, the spare parts were found strewn in front of the mill and Vinayak had disappeared. On the night of Tuesday, Vinayak had called the owner of the mill, but after that his phone was switched off.

The Ullal police are currently investigating the case.
