DSS demands arrest of Baba Ramdev for anti-Dalit, anti-Rahul remarks

Mangalore, May 7, 2014 : The remarks made by Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev against Dalits and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi reveals his cheap mentality said Prof. Umesh Chandra.

He was participating in a protest organised by the Dalita Sangharsha Samithi in front of the DC office on May 6, Tuesday demanding the arrest of Ramdev for his derogatory remarks. The protestors also burnt the effigy of the Yoga Guru on the occasion.

Continuing to criticise Baba Ramdev, Prof. Umeshchandra said the Yoga Guru who always speaking about black money of Indians that is stashed in foreign banks, never even thought of speaking about his assets. There is a need for an investigation into the asset details of Ramdev, Prof. Umeshchandra said.

The protestors submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the Deputy Commissioner on the occasion.

PV Mohan, Congress leader, Chandu L Belthangady, Sunder Master, Rohith L and other DSS leaders and members took part in the protest.
