DC inspects cleanliness condition in city; suspends erring sanitary inspectors

Mangalore, feb 28, 2013 : Deputy Commissioner N Prakash who is also the interim administrator of Mangalore City Corporation, on February 27, Wednesday morning, inspected the cleanliness conditions as garbage disposal mechanism in various parts of the city.
The DC on noticing that the garbage disposal was highly unsatisfactory on Falnir Road, Kankanady and Valencia, ordered on the spot suspension of the sanitary inspectors of the areas.
The DC was accompanied by MCC Commissioner Harish Kumar and MCC Environmental Engineer.
The DC who also visited Nandigudde, Pandeshwar, Balmatta Shantinilaya Road, Court Road, old port area, Central Market, Carstreet, Bunder, Kudroli, Mannagudda, Urva, Kottara, Bejai, Kadri, Bendur appreciated the cleanliness maintained in the areas.
