Udupi, 21 Jan,  2012 : Former Lokayukta Justice N. Santhosh Hegde inaugurated the 10th annual day celebrations of Flower of Paradise English School in Malpe on Jan 20 Friday.


san1In his inaugural address, he spoke of the evils of corruption, declaring that “corrupt people cease to be human.” He urged the public to understand that politicians are public servants and not rulers and that the people, not the parliament, are superior in India.

S. M. Syed Khaleel, the president of the Decennial Celebrations Committee, released the souvenir.

Daya Rao, the headmaster of Malpe Narayan Guru English School; Geetha, the principal; Haji Abdul Jalil, the president of the Malpe Education Society; and Jali Paul, the school headmistress, were also present.

Earlier that afternoon, Higher Education Minister Dr. V. S. Acharya inaugurated the premises of the new school in the presence of S. M. Syed Khaleel Dubai, the chairman of Anjuman Educational Institutions; MLA Raghupathi Bhat; Syed Riyaz, the deputy commissioner of Lokayukta; former minister Jayaprakash Hegde; Pramod Madhwaraj, president of Yelluru Mogaveera Mahajana Sangha; and others.
