Mangaluru, Sep 27, 2022: The idol of Goddess Sharada was installed at the Acharya Mutt premises of Sri Venkataramana Temple, Car street on September 26, Monday  in the presence of Srimad Samyameendra Theertha Swamiji, Pontiff of Kashi Mutt Samsthan. This is the centenary year of the Sharada Mahotsava.

Arathi was performed to the Goddess who looked graceful in a beautiful saree and was bedecked with jewels. This year, the Goddess has a golden peacock and a golden veena.

Chief Priest of the Temple J Bhasker Bhat, other priests, Temple Committee President Dr Umananda Mallya, Secretary Adige Balakrishna Shenoy and others were present.
