Brahmavar: Two detained for sharing hate-filled posts on social media

Brahmavar, January 30, 2026: Brahmavar police have detained two persons on charges of sharing hate-filled messages on social media platforms.
The detained individuals have been identified as K. Nagaraj (62) of Koteshwar and Santosh Kumar Shetty (56) of Waramballi, Brahmavar.
The action was carried out under the guidance of DySP Prabhu D.T., Brahmavar Circle Inspector Gopikrishna, and Brahmavar Police Sub-Inspectors Ashok Malabaghi and Sudarshan Doddamani.
Accused K. Nagaraj is a businessman, while Santosh Kumar Shetty works as a manager at a private cooperative bank.
