Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Visits Durgaparameshwary temple, Kateel

Mangalore, March 28: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty who is on a visit to her native Mudalady and Niddody near Kateel, paid a visit to Shree Kateel Durgaparameshwari temple on Monday, March 28.

 

 

She was accompanied by her husband Raj Kundra, London based Businessman and mother Sunanda Shetty and a few of her extended family members.  Dressed in a yellow Salwar, Shetty paid her respect to the deities along with her Husband and Mother.

Since it was a private visit there were not many people who knew about her presence in the city in the early hours. 

 

Shilpa called her visit a ‘pilgrimage tour’ rather than a holiday as she will visit her maternal ancestral house at Niddodi near Kateel to watch ‘Bhoota Kola’ today.

 

Shilpa Shetty is an Indian film actress and model. Since making her debut in the film Baazigar (1993), she has appeared in nearly 40 Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, her first leading role being in the 1994 Aag. Although she has been through years of decline during her career, Shetty has been willing to reinvent herself quite often. Her performances in Dhadkan (2000) and Rishtey (2002) were appreciated, while her portrayal of an AIDS patient in Phir Milenge (2004) won her many accolades. Her younger sister Shamita Shetty is also a Bollywood film actress.
