Billawas Dubai distributes Rs 12 lakhs scholarship to 225 students

Mangalore, Aug 11, 2013: Billawas Dubai and Northern Emirates (BDNE), Dubai, under the aegis of Gokarnatheshwara Kshetra, Kudroli, Shri Guru Charitable Trust organized a scholarship distribution programme at the Koragappa Memorial Hall of Sri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple, Kudroli on August 11, Sunday.

Speaking after inaugurating the event, former union minister B Janardhan Poojary said that often community people go other countries to earn their living and main purpose being educating their children. Such students must work hard with inculcating discipline to succeed in life and must try to become the role models to society.

 

 

He also said that Narayana Guru has given good message to the society of practicing discipline in day-to-day life and community must follow his message.

Speaking on community youth involved in crime, Poojary said that the family members of such youths must rejected them from the family.

Billawas Dubai distributed Medical aid to 15 people. Amount of Rs 12 lakhs was distributed among 225 students  on the occasion.

Belthangady MLA Vasanth Bangera honoured eight student achievers.

HS Sairam, President of Gokarnanatheshwara Kshetra, Kudroli, Sadananda Suvarna,President of Shri Guru Charitable Trust, Jitendra Suvarna, Krishna Poojary, Udaya Kumar Kateel, Sudhakar Poojary and others were present.
