Bike- car collision claims rider’s life; pillion rider critical

Bantwal, April 28, 2023: A bike rider lost his life while the pillion rider sustained serious injuries after a car rammed into their bike at Bambila in Bantwal Rural Police Station limits on April 28, Friday morning.
The deceased is Sandeep Lobo (35) of Amtady. His neighbour Akash has sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.
Both Sandeep and Akash are welding workers. It is learnt rash driving by the car driver led to the mishap.
Punjalakatte police have registered a case.
