Beltangady: 8-year-old girl dies after being hit by speeding bike

Beltangady, Oct 28, 2023: On Friday, October 27, a tragic incident occurred near Ujire at Badanaje, where a speeding motorcycle struck and fatally injured a young school student. The victim, an 8-year-old girl named Ankita, was a third-grade student and the daughter of Ashoka and Jayashree.
The accident happened as she was attempting to cross the road. A formal case has been filed against the motorcycle rider at the Beltangady police station.
