Bantwal: Private bus loses control, hits two-wheeler near B C Road

Bantwal, Jan 10, 2026: A private bus travelling from Mangaluru to Puttur went out of control due to a technical malfunction and collided with a two-wheeler near the B C Road bus stand on Friday evening.
According to reports, the driver lost control of the bus after it developed a technical fault upon reaching B C Road. The vehicle swerved erratically before striking a two-wheeler and coming to a stop shortly thereafter. A major accident was narrowly avoided as the bus halted immediately after the collision.
The two-wheeler rider managed to jump off in time and escaped without injuries. The incident caused traffic congestion in the area for a brief period.
