Bantwal : Man kills brother suspecting illicit affair with wife

Bantwal, Aug 07, 2021: An incident wherein a man who suspected that his wife and his younger brother were having an illicit affair, hacked his  younger brother to death at Bondala Shanthigudda in Panemangalore late night on August 6, Friday.

 

The deceased person is Sunder (30). The accused Ravi  is absconding. The deceased man Sunder  was unmarried and was residing all alone.  His elder brother Ravi stayed in an adjacent house and Ravi’s wife itself used to provide  food to Sunder. It has been learnt that Ravi always used to pick up a quarrel with Sunder alleging that he was having an affair with his sister-in-law.

On  Friday night too, the two had a quarrel.  Later when loud screams were heard, another brother Ramesh who too stayed nearby had rushed to the place only to find Sunder in a pool of blood. He later succumbed  on the spot.

The accused had fled soon after the crime. Bantwal police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the accused.
