Bantwal, May 30, 2024: Eight persons including a student sustained injuries in a collision between a lorry and a KSRTC bus  near Kadabettu cross in Vagga on May 29, Wednesday.

The injured are bus driver Umesh, passengers Nalini, Rakshan Venugopal, Taranath, Rohini and lorry driver Mahesh of Chitradurga.

The lorry driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve at Karinja Kadabettu and rammed into the bus before overturning.

Bantwal Traffic Police have registered a case.
