Bank manager murder case : Police arrest 2, search on for another suspect

Mangalore, April 20, 2013 : Police who are investigating into the case of the mysterious death of Anjana, assistant manager of Syndicate Bank, at a house at Bejai Kapikad recently, have taken two persons into custody.

Meanwhile, search is on for Mahesh, said to be the friend of the deceased.

The arrested person is Ravi who worked for a company in the city and was a friend and roommate of Mahesh, the friend of Anjana. The identity of the other person arrested is not known.

Anjana who hailed from Malappuram in Kerala and who joined work in Syndicate Bank just eight months ago, was found unconscious in the house of Mahesh and Ravi and later died in the hospital. Her bag, gold chain and mobile phone are missing giving rise to the suspicion that robbery was the motive of the killers.

Police are investigating the case from every angle possible.  The deceased Anjana lived in the bank quarters at Gandhinagar along with her mother.
