Mangalore, May 08, 2014: In a fresh development, the Bharatiya Janatha Party has expelled its State Executive Member Shrikar Prabhu from the party’s Primary Membership as well as his posting for six years with immediate effect.
A BJP press communiqué said the orders has been issued by State BJP President Prahlad Joshi in the wake of some ’unexpected developments’ during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
In another press communiqué, the State BJP General Secretary Raghunath Rao Malkapure has issued an order relieving advocate PP Hegde of his responsibility as State Executive Member of the BJP’s National Security Cell.
It may be recalled here that an FIR has already been lodged against Hegde based on a complaint by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel alleging that the former had tried to malign him by unauthorisedly getting his call details and making it public.
