He also said that BJP will announce the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections by February 5 or Feb 6. The BJP activists are visiting every person through the door to door campaign from January 15 and distributing three pamphlets comprising of BJP’s vision and success, Narendra Modi’s vision and various scams of Congress led government.

Answering to the question, Bhanuprakash said that, if Yeddyurappa, who has recently rejoined the party, wishes to contest for the election, then it is the good news for everyone. The party will support him and is sure to gain victory and will work to bring changes in the society.

Speaking on the Booth level agents (BLAs), he said that along with other voters, the BLA’s who are assigned to each election booth must also cast their votes. The BLAs must examine the voters’ list, address and booth numbers before the elections. Nursery school teachers, city corporation officers and others are assigned as BLA’s, while the government staffs are not assigned for this work. Every booth there will be booth level officer (BLO), he added.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that after the Congress government came into power, many incidents took place, but there was no proper response from the police department and this shows the failure of Congress.  Congress is using police force only for political gains, he added.

BJP district president Pratap Simha Nayak, unit general secretary Sanjeev Matandoor, BJP state vice president Sulochana Bhat, Divakar Samani, Satish Prabhu and others were present.
