Applications invited from scribes for Hunger Project-India’s Sarojini Naidu Prize

Mangalore, Mar 30, 2013: "Hunger Project- India", has invited journalists to apply for the Sarojini Naidu Prize for best reporting on ‘Women and Panchayath Raj.


Speaking at the press meet held at Information department conference hall on March 30, Saturday Krishan Moolya, Director of Jashikshana Trust said that the award will be given for the best article published in news papers or magazine based on the theme, ‘Women in Panchayat Raj-bringing primary health care for all’ and ‘Women in Panchayat Raj-bringing education to every child’.

He also said that the applicants can send the articles that have been published June 16, 2012 to June 15, 2013 on or before June 15, 2013 to ’Hunger Project’ office in New Delhi or the State offices. The applications must include short biography, name, address, email and phone number of the applicants.


Krishan Moolya also said that three Journalists from print media will be given award for  outstanding reporting in English, Hindi and other Indian languages on the subject.
