After man tests positive, Jeppu Patna area sealed down

Mangaluru, May 18, 2020:   The area in Jeppu Patna surrounding the residence of a 31 year old man who was tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday, has been declared a containment zone by the Deputy Commissioner. The sealed down area has 48 houses, two shops, and a school and has 205 residents. An area of five kms radius around the containment zone has been declared a buffer zone.

An Executive Engineer-3 of Mangaluru City Corporation is the incident officer who will be in-charge of the zone.
