AI suspends flights and changes schedules

Mangalore, Dec 16, 2011 : The schedules of the Mangalore to Abu Dhabi and Mangalore to Muscat to Abu Dhabhi flights have been changed, with the changes to come into effect from Dec 19. Besides, Air India has also suspended certain flights.

In a press release issued recently, AI stated that these changes have been made for easy operation and will be effective till Jan 31, 2012.

According to the revised schedule, the Mangalore to Muscat to Abu Dhabi flight no. IX 817, which usually leaves Mangalore Airport on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, will leave at 9:25 a.m. and reach Muscat at 11:45 p.m. It will depart from Muscat at 12:30 p.m. and reach Abu Dhabi at 1:50 a.m. It will leave Muscat on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday as IX 818 at 12:30 a.m. and will reach Abu Dhabi at 1:50 a.m., taking off again at 2:40 a.m. to reach Mangalore at 7:20 a.m.

 

Flight IX 815 from Mangalore to Abu Dhabhi leaves on Tuesday and Wednesday and returns on Wednesday and Thursday; however, this flight will be suspended. Similarly, the Mangalore to Abu Dhabhi flight IX 617, which leaves Mangalore on Sundays and returns on Mondays at IX 818 has been suspended.
