2 bike riders meet tragic end in road mishap near Derlakatte

Mangalore, Oct 3, 2013 : A tragic road mishap near the Ayyappa Swamy Temple at Derlakatte in the outskirts of the city on October 3, Thursday, claimed the life of two bike riders.

The deceased are Mahesh Gatty (26) and Lakshman (30). Both are residents of Konaje area. The mishap took place when the two were  on way to Mangalore from Konaje in their Honda Activa.  Their bike collided with another two-wheeler near the Temple and both fell on to the road  only to be run over by a speeding lorry which was coming that way.

Konaje police have registered a case.
