Mangalore, Jan 27: Hani Printers and Publications released 13 new Kannada books in the course of a special book release function jointly organized by Al Madina Publications and Sahitya Sambrama 2011. The chief guest of the event was C. M. Ibrahim, who spoke of the oneness of all religions and predicted that the state government will not last till the end of February and that the state should gear up for another election.  

 

Tulunadu Ikyatha Vedike President Hyder Parthipady delivered the introductory address; and Voice of Kuran Chairman Abdusufiyan H. I. Ibrahim Madani presided over the event. 

The 13 new Kannada books released on the occasion were Chinnara Loka by Muliya Shankar Bhat, Dr. Saab by Dr. M. S. Krishna Moorthy, Kuraani Chikitsegalu by Salathoor Abubakkar Faizi, Durantha Nayaka Madani by Ismath Phazeer, Shoonya by Mahim Ismail, Halima by Fakruddin Ismail, Kuraninalli Pravadhigalu by Habibulla Tangal, Misrina Siri by Salethoor Faizi, O Laila by Kodikana Abdulla, Sulaiman Nebi and Balkees Rani by Salethoor Faizi, Tigrees na Putri by Habeebulla Rehman and Huthathma by Thouseef Harekala. 

Harikrishna Punaroor, the former president of State Kannada Sahitya Parishad; Ullal Darga Samithi President Haji Monu Kanachoor; Congress Minorities Division President Moideen Bawa, Haji S. M. Rasheed of SMR Group; and others were also present.
