Mangalore, April 17: The muhurath of the Tulu film “Oriyardori Asal,” which has been produced under the banner of Roopalaxmi, is scheduled for Feb 17; and the film will be released on Aug 15.

Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail, the script writer, dialogue writer, and lyricist of the film, said that the first phase of the film was shot between March 26 and April 30 in a nearby location. He was speaking to journalists during a press conference held at Radio Maidan, Urwa Store on April 17, Saturday. He also said that shooting for the song sequence will take place in Mumbai, Moodubidri, and Madikeri during the month of May. Music Director Guru Kiran puts in a guest appearance in the film

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The play “Oriyardori Asal” gave a totally new dimension to Tulu theatre because of its non-stop comedy. The story of the play is based on the daily life of ordinary people. The play is set in a neighborhood of 3 – 4 houses. The characters of the play became immensely popular, chiefly because of the way it was staged; and the play created records in the history of Tulu theatre, he said.

The film lays emphasis on comedy and presents a social message during its climax. Several directors and producers have not succeeded in making a super hit Tulu film during the past few years despite their best efforts. But this film will be the first Tulu DTS film and will be released on Aug 15.

Director H S Rajashekar, popular Tulu drama actors “Kusaldarase” Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Rajesh Bantwal, Rekha Das, M N Laxmidevi, Sathyajith, Producer Roopa Vijayakumar, and actor Likhith Shetty were present during the press conference.
