Kishan reportedly rammed his speeding car into an auto-rickshaw and injured the passengers inside the three-wheeler. Then the 17-year-old got into a scuffle with other people at the accident site.

Kishan was driving his father’s car when he crashed it behind the auto-rickshaw. After the accident, Kishan reportedly got into a fight and was beaten up until some onlookers called the police to settle the issue.

The police arrested Kishan and others who were involved in the fight. The car was also seized by the police.

A native of Navada district in Bihar, Kishan plays for Jharkhand since the Cricket Association of Bihar has lost its affiliation with the BCCI.

Kishan was named captain of India’s U-19 squad in December 2015 for his excellent performances at the junior and domestic levels. He amassed 736 runs from 10 matches in the Ranji Trophy at an average of 40.88, which includes one hundred and five half-centuries.

This incident comes as a big blow to India’s U-19 World Cup plans, which starts in Bangladesh on January 27. India start their campaign against Ireland on January 28.
