Yogesh Bhat inaugurates New Building of Attavar High School

Mangalore, January 11, 2012:  N. Yogesh Bhat, the deputy speaker of the state assembly, inaugurated the new buildings of the Zilla Panchayat High School and Anganwadi Centre in Attavar on Jan 11 Wednesday.

Dayanand Pai, the president of the inauguration ceremony, hoisted the flag in the presence of dignitaries such as Mohini Dayanand Pai; H. Rathindranath, the honorary president of the Chakrapani Seva Samithi; Hemavathi P. S., the headmistress of the primary school; Corporators Anil Kumar and H. Ravindranath; Gopalakrishna Kotian, the president of the Chakrapani Seva Samithi; Gangadhar, an officer of the Child Development Project; and Devaraj Acharya, the president of the school development and monitoring committee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Yogish Bhat stressed the need to develop government schools on the basis of donations from kind-hearted people. He expressed his desire that more and more people would fund the construction and renovation of government buildings. He also suggested that schools should be used to help people develop self-employment skills during in evenings.

Radhakrishna Bhat, the headmaster of the high school, delivered the welcome address and Sucheta was the MC.
