Mangaluru, July 10, 2025: Rainfall remained sporadic across the coastal region on Wednesday, with several areas experiencing a temporary lull in showers. In Mangaluru, the day began with a mix of sunshine and overcast skies, followed by moderate rain in the afternoon.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for the coastal belt from July 10 to 15, warning of moderate to heavy rainfall during this period.
In Udupi district, weather conditions were largely cloudy through the morning and early afternoon, with brief sunny intervals. Rain intensified post noon, with moderate showers reported from Udupi, Manipal, Byndoor, Kundapur, Kota, Brahmavar, Malpe, Karkala, Hebri, Shirva, Padubidri, Kaup, and Uchila.
According to the IMD, moderate rainfall is expected to continue over the coming days across the coastal region.
