YFN to hold state-wide rally against cyber crime and corruption

Mangalore, Aug 3, 2012 : Youth for Nation (YFN), a national youth organization, will organize a Karnataka state-wide rally called Prathignya Yatre (Rashtra Karyadalli Yuva Sanchanalana) from Aug 4 to Aug 9 to fight against corruption and cyber crime.

 

 

Addressing reporters at a press meet held in Press Club on Aug 3, Friday, Ashwath Hegde, chief secretary of YFN Mangalore, said that the rally will begin at Freedom Park in Bangalore on Aug 4 at 8:00 a.m. and will cover all the major towns and cities of the state. It is scheduled to reach Mangalore at 4:00 p.m. on Aug 7.

He invited all those who are ready to destroy the Ravana of corruption to take part in this rally. Speaking about the problems facing the country, he said that India is suffering from two major problems –cyber crimes and corruption. He said that a memorandum bearing the signature of thousands of people will be presented to the chief minister of Karnataka, the prime minister of India, and the president of India. The rally is only the beginning of a nation-wide struggle against cyber crime and corruption, he added.

YFN Joint Secretary Sandesh and Secretary Ajith Bopaiah were also present at the press conference.
