Teenager goes missing from Oct 31

Mangalore, Nov 2, 2011 :Alwyna Miranda (17), the daughter of Alphonse and Leena Miranda of Nithyadara Nivasa in Kumpala, Krishnanagara II Cross, Someshwara has been missing from Oct 31 Monday.

Her mother has lodged a missing person complaint at Ullal Police Station on Nov 1 Tuesday, and the police are currently investigating the case.

A student of a city-based college, she had gone to Pakshikere on Monday to attend a camp. Ever since, she has been missing and all efforts to trace her have gone in vain.

Alwyna can speak Kannada, English, Tulu, Hindi, and Konkani. She has a black mole on her left cheek and wears a rosary around her neck. She was wearing a purple salwar when she disappeared. She is 5’1” tall.
