Swaroopa to organize record-breaker educational campaign

Mangalore, Nov 2, 2011: Swaroopa Adhyayana Kendra will organize Swaroopa Educational Awareness Campaign – 2011 at Town Hall on Nov 7 Monday at 5:00 p.m. 

Swaroopa Director Gopadkar told reporters at a press meet held today that Swaroopa will organize the campaign under the theme “this is not that” and present a 2-hour show on SSCL performance and achievements. Students of Swaroopa will also present a memory talent show, which will make a Guinness Record. 

 

 

Further, he said that Swaroopa will organize 10 events for the first time, including a 50-day campaign comprising 100 2-hour programmes on SSLC-related subjects in Karnataka, memory talent show comprising recollection of 1000 items including phone numbers, which will make a Guinness Record, an exhibition of 240 paintings, songs related to the campaign, multi-task education enabling students to learn 4 subjects simultaneously, education through dance, emotional intelligence, and much more. 

He also said that 26 students of Swaroopa will participate in the Limca Record programme in Bangalore on Dec 15. 

Krishna J. Palemar, the district-in-charge minister; writer K. T. Gatti; Dr. Mohan Alva, the president of Alva’s Foundation; MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik; Moses Jayashekar, the district education deputy director; M. B. Puranik, the president of Sharada Vidyalaya, and Mohan Sona, the renowed artiste, will participate in the campaign, he said.
