Sullia: Four youths killed in car-lorry collision on Mani–Mysuru highway near Koyanadu

Sullia, July 25, 2025: In a tragic road accident, four youths lost their lives when a car collided with a lorry on the Mani–Mysuru National Highway near Koyanadu in Madikeri taluk on Friday, July 25.
The deceased have been identified as Nihad, Rishan, and Rashib — all residents of Gonikoppal in Kodagu district. The identity of the fourth victim is yet to be confirmed.
The accident occurred while the group was returning to their hometown from Ullal. The collision was so intense that all four occupants of the car died on the spot.
The bodies have been shifted to Sullia hospital, and necessary formalities are underway. Kodagu police have visited the scene and are conducting further investigation.
Efforts are ongoing to inform the families of the deceased.
