St. Agnes College organizes annual sports meet

Mangalore, Dec 16, 2011: St. Agnes College (autonomous) organized its annual sports day on Dec 16 Friday. ACP G. V. Subramanian, the chief guest, inaugurated the event. 

Dr. Sr. Marie Prem D’Souza, the principal of St. Agnes College, delivered the welcome address. Dr. Sr. M. Olivia, the joint secretary of St. Agnes College; Sr. Maria Kripa, the superior of St. Agnes Convent; and Joyce D’Souza, the vice president of PTA at St. Agnes College were also present. 

 

 

 

 

 

The panel of judges for the march past comprised Shubha K. H., the physical directress at Government First Grade College for Women in Balmatta, and Usha A. J., the physical directress at St. Aloysius P. U. College in Mangalore. A total of 27 teams marched to a tune based on theme of the International Year of Forest and Chemistry. 

The coordinator of the event was Vasudha, the physical culture instructor of St. Agnes College. The valedictory event of the sports meet was held at 3:00 p.m. with Mr. World Raymond D’Souza as the chief guest.
