Software Paradigms Infotech Pvt Ltd (SPI), a fully owned subsidiary of Software Paradigms International Group LLC, which has its head office in Atlanta, has established a brand new IT development and BPO center at Oberle Towers in Balmatta, Mangalore.
SPI has already established itself in Mysore as a renowned player in the IT and BPO industry. The MD and CEO of SPI Mr. Sid Mookerji said: “Launching SPI in Mangalore is a significant milestone for the organization. It is a metaphor of SPI’s unflagging commitment to expansion and growth. In these challenging times, this center provides a great morale boost to SPI and the entire IT and ITeS industry in Karnataka.”
Addressing press people at a press conference at Gateway Hotel after the inaugural of the IT and BPO center, Mr. Mookerji said: “We have several new business opportunities driving our need to start a new ODC at Mangalore. SPI will bring a very capable leadership team and many skilled resources to this center, creating a working environment conducive to productivity for our Mangalore center.”
The company plans to employ a staff of 100 qualified workers in the ITeS and IT sector during its first year in Mangalore. Owing to the fact that medical transcription attracts more customers, the company is going to begin training its first batch of medical transcriptionists on October 5. SPI is well-equipped to handle both production as well as training.
SPI is the first Mysore-based, 100 percent export orient unit to provide services to global clients in IT outsourcing and business process outsourcing, including Medical Transcription (MT). In October 2008, Atlanta Business Magazine ranked Software Paradigms International, the parent company of SPI, among Atlanta’s 10 fastest growing companies. In May 2008, the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation ranked SPI among the 50 fastest growing Asian American Businesses in the US.
